New Obey!

Just put out a whack of new womens Obey for fall, including cuffed acid wash pants, anchor embroidered hoodies, pretty patterned blouses and the newest pullover "Keep A Breast" sweaters. These days 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, so all of the proceeds from the Obey Awareness Campaign directly support the cause.

NIKE Air MAG (aka: the Marty McFly shoes!!)

We blogged about this a while back, well Nike has finally launched their Nike Air Mag shoe in LA. Better known as the Marty McFly shoes from Back to the Future 2. These look ridiculous, and I'd (personally) never wear them...but hey to each their own. I'd still however buy them to put up on my wall! Not sure on the cost yet...but I'm sure they wont be as cheap as a pair of dunks. :) Props to NIKE for the amazing marketing & photos.

The launch is well tied to the The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
Proceeds from the sale of the MAG go directly towards Mr. Fox’s Parkinson’s research foundation.

Flavour is participating again this year in Volcoms 'Give Jeans A Chance' clothing drive, with proceeds going towards The Peterborough Y.E.S. (Youth Emergency Shelter).

Last year we had huge success and donated almost fifty pairs of jeans to Y.E.S.!

Obey Clothing has released ‘The Rise’ short film, featuring an interview with founder, artist Shepard Fairey. Shepard talks about the influence graffiti, skateboarding and punk rock had on his life and the ways it shaped his art career. Key moments such as a school trip to NY and the melding of styles by brands such as Shut Skateboards allowed him to develop his techniques. Look out for some classic 90’s skate footage as well.
